We’re Top Quality Exteriors, a local roofing and siding contractor founded in 2022 with 7+ years of industry experience behind our crews. Florissant sits in a stretch of St. Louis County where roughly 75% of homes were built between the 1940s and 1960s — modest post-war ranches with aging aluminum, brittle vinyl, and second- or third-cover asphalt on board decking. We work those streets every week, from Old Town near the Shrine over to Paddock Forest, and we’re honest about what a re-roof actually costs when the decking is 60 years old.

View CertificationFull asphalt tear-offs on Florissant's post-war ranches are our bread and butter, with honest decking checks on 60-year-old board sheathing before we quote — no surprises after tear-off.
Cracked pipe boots, worn 3-tab, and leaky valleys are common calls on Florissant's aging ranches; our crews patch, seal, and match repairs so the roof holds until it truly needs full replacement.
When a Florissant storm rips shingles loose or a limb splits decking overnight, our 24/7 emergency crew rolls out fast, stops active leaks, and stabilizes the roof before more water gets in.
Free post-storm roof inspections across Florissant after the 2025 hail season — we start on the west and southwest slopes, document damage in writing, and hand you a report your adjuster can use.
From careful matched work on Old Town Florissant's historic homes to straightforward tear-offs on New Halls Ferry ranches, our residential crews handle both faces of this north-county city.
Storefronts, warehouses, and offices along the Lindbergh corridor in Florissant need low-slope roofs that hold up to hail — we install and repair TPO, EPDM, and modified bitumen systems here.
May 19, 2025 dropped 2-inch hail on Florissant, and the March 2025 EF2 tore through town — we document damage, work with your insurer, and replace roofs on Missouri's 12-month claim window.
After the 2025 storms hammered Florissant, we run round-the-clock tarping calls — our crew arrives fast, secures the exposed deck with tarps and battens, and keeps water out until re-roof.
About 80% of Florissant homes wear asphalt shingles — we install Owens Corning architectural and Class 4 impact-rated options that can earn a hail-corridor insurance discount on your premium.
Standing-seam metal is a smart upgrade for custom homes off Charbonier Rd or in Old Jamestown — long life, hail resistance, and a look that lifts a Florissant elevation above the ranch norm.
Some of Florissant's Old Town homes near the Shrine still carry original slate — our crews handle careful matched repair and full slate replacement where the structure can still hold the load.
Tile is rare in Florissant, but a few Old Jamestown builds carry it well — we source matching clay and concrete tile, replace hail-cracked pieces, and re-flash valleys to keep the roof dry.
Florissant commercial buildings and flat additions off New Halls Ferry need TPO or modified bitumen that shrugs off hail — we install, patch, and re-seal flat systems built to drain properly.
Full re-sides on Florissant ranches near Koch Park mean stripping brittle vinyl or dented aluminum to sheathing, adding house wrap, and installing modern panels that hold color for decades.
Cracked panels, hail-dented aluminum, and chalky vinyl on Florissant's south and west elevations — we repair what we can and re-side the elevation honestly when the color can't be matched.
The 2025 storms cracked vinyl and dented aluminum on Florissant elevations facing southwest — our siding crews document each panel for the adjuster and rebuild the wall to match on both sides.
When wind rips panels off a Florissant wall and drives rain into the sheathing, our emergency crew tarps and boards the elevation the same day, then rebuilds it after the insurance adjuster.
Vinyl is the honest workhorse for Florissant's ranch belt — affordable, low-maintenance, and easy to refresh when the 1960s panels finally give up chalking and cracking under summer sun.
For larger custom homes in Old Jamestown or Villages at Barrington Downs, James Hardie fiber cement gives Florissant owners a premium, fire-resistant exterior that shrugs off hail for decades.
Fiber cement is a strong pick for Florissant's west-side homes — dense, dent-resistant, and paintable in any color — a real step up from tired aluminum still hanging on many post-war walls.
LP SmartSide gives Florissant owners the wood look with engineered strength — a middle option between vinyl and fiber cement, and a solid match for older ranch profiles in Paddock Forest.
Un-insulated 1950s framing is standard across Florissant's ranch belt — insulated vinyl adds real R-value, softens summer heat and winter cold, and pays back on the monthly utility bill.
Twenty-five hail reports landed within ten miles of Florissant in 2025 — our storm team documents damage, works your Missouri claim, and rebuilds the roof and siding before winter sets in.
Our Florissant service area covers every corner of the city, from Old Town near Old St. Ferdinand Shrine and Taille de Noyer to the mid-century subdivisions that fill the rest of the map — Paddock Forest, Wellington II and III, Gardenview, Wedgewood Green, and the newer Villages at Barrington Downs on the west side. We roll trucks along Lindbergh, New Halls Ferry, Washington St, and Charbonier every week, and we work Old Jamestown and the Coldwater Creek corridor near the Sunset Greenway. Roughly three of every four Florissant homes were built between the 1940s and 1960s, so we’ve seen every version of the aging ranch roof and un-insulated post-war wall. Storms arrive from the southwest — 2025 alone dropped 2-inch hail on May 19 and sent an EF2 through in March. We pull the city’s own permit and respect its material-matching rule.
Call our Florissant crew or use the form and we’ll schedule a free on-site estimate — usually within a day or two. We’ll walk your roof and siding, explain what’s actually failing, and hand you a written quote.

I was referred by a relative, and I'm glad I asked. They did great work, communicated well about everything, and the one issue I had was addressed quickly and efficiently. I am glad that I went to this company. Not only would I use them again, I would refer them to friends and loved ones. Pleasant workers who work hard, and customer satisfaction is obviously a priority.Posted on Google![]()

I am extremely grateful that I contacted Top Quality Exteriors for my projects. They did a great job, continuously kept me posted on the work with daily photos, and were timely and professional at a very competitive and fair price!! While other contractors were not interested in my relatively small projects (soffit and dormer repair), TQE came out the day I called to give me a bid. They also went above and beyond. I not only had soffit repair work needed, but a birds next was built into the soffit opening. After inspecting my soffit to provide a bid, Bryan, my TQE representative, asked me if I had a yard bag. He climbed back on the roof and removed the nest. He then used materials from his truck to go back up on the roof to close off the hole until it could be repaired. All this on a late Friday afternoon when most contractors would be looking to start their weekend. Because of this, the great quality work, and the friendly and professional employees, I will always contact Top Quality Exteriors for any future projects, large or small. I HIGHLY recommend them!!!!Posted on Google![]()

The overall experience was great. Their responses are quick and detailed, and the images provided of the condition of the roof before, during, and after repair gave me confidence in the work that was being done. They did a thorough job of explaining the scope of work, including a change order that was required when additional damage was found to the sheathing of the roof. They were transparent about their pricing and were respectful throughout our interactions. Overall I’m satisfied, and hopeful that the quality of the work will show over time.
