24/7 Emergency Roof Repair in Florissant

When a storm tears open a shingle field on your Florissant ranch and water starts running down the drywall, the clock becomes the problem. Our emergency roof repair in Florissant is built for exactly that moment — a 24/7 phone line, a crew staged near Lindbergh Blvd, and a tarp or dry-in on the deck before the next band of weather moves through. Top Quality Exteriors has been the north-county call since the May 19, 2025 hail and the March EF2 tornado track that cut through town, and we treat every active leak as the hour-one job it is.

Most Florissant roofs we meet after a storm are on 60–80-year-old ranches with worn 3-tab shingles, brittle pipe boots, and board-deck sheathing underneath. We stabilize first and diagnose second: shrink-wrap the opening, chase the water trail from attic to ceiling, document everything with dated photos, then line out a lasting roof repair in Florissant or an insurance-funded full replacement. You leave the call knowing what caused the leak and holding a clear written quote your insurer can read line by line.

What You Get on an Emergency Call

  • 24/7 live phone answer and same-day tarp-up on active leaks
  • Attic-to-ceiling leak trace with dated photos for your adjuster
  • Written scope on-site, financing-ready, no high-pressure sales

Why Florissant Calls Us First

Florissant’s housing is unusually old for the county — roughly 75% was built in the 1940s through 1960s during the post-WWII GI Bill boom, and most of it is low-pitch asphalt-shingle ranch. When 2-inch hail hit on May 19, 2025 and the EF2 cell tracked in from Bridgeton days earlier, those tired roofs were the ones that split, lost flashing, or lifted at the ridge vents. We know what fails first on a Charbonier Rd ranch versus a two-story in Old Jamestown, and we arrive with ice-and-water shield, pipe boots, step flashing, and synthetic underlayment already on the truck. After dark our crews work by LED tower light so a Saturday-night storm never becomes a Monday-morning ceiling collapse. On the oldest homes we often find 1x board sheathing instead of OSB, which Florissant’s code deems “non-nailable” if deteriorated — we photograph it, note it in the scope, and emergency roof tarping in Florissant keeps the home dry while permits and insurance align.

Our 5-Step Emergency Process

From the moment you call our after-hours line to the final cleanup on the ground, every emergency job in Florissant moves through five tight steps. Here is exactly what happens so you are never guessing where we are or what comes next.

Call & Dispatch

Call our 24/7 line and a real person answers in minutes. We log your address and the active leak in one exchange. Then we dispatch the nearest Florissant crew within the hour.

On-Site Triage

We walk the perimeter, check the attic, and climb only when it is safe. Our lead names the failure point out loud so you hear it first. You get a dated phone photo of the damage.

Tarp & Dry-In

We shrink-wrap or heavy-mil-tarp the opening with proper battens. Penetrations get temporary flashing to shed the next rain. Interior drip buckets go where water is still moving.

Scope & Estimate

We measure, map every slope, and photograph each defect for your file. The scope is written on-site in plain English and line-itemed. Financing and insurance language come with it.

Repair & Cleanup

Our crew tears off damage, replaces decking where Florissant code requires, and installs matching shingle and flashing. Magnetic sweep clears every nail. You get a final walk.

Why Florissant Trusts Our Response

We built this company in the St. Louis metro and we live in it, so when a Florissant homeowner calls at 11 p.m. about water running down a hallway wall, the dispatcher already knows your 1950s ranch stock. Owner Mario Granados founded Top Quality Exteriors in 2022, backed by 7+ years of hands-on industry experience, and the team now runs 52+ members across north and west county. We are BBB Accredited with an A+ rating and licensed in both Missouri and Illinois.

We are an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor and a James Hardie Alliance Program Member, so installers train on the products most Florissant roofs and sidewalls actually use. Every emergency repair is backed by our 36-month workmanship warranty — the firm baseline on every job, with up to lifetime coverage available on select products. We pull the Florissant building permit, submit samples for Code 500.330(18), and stay on the file until the city signs off.

Cost, Financing, and Your Claim

A straight tarp-and-dry-in on a Florissant ranch runs a few hundred dollars; a full emergency repair with decking, matched shingle, and flashing varies by slope count and whether we hit the “non-nailable” sheathing clause. We quote in writing on-site, split the number into materials and labor, and never add a surprise line later. When damage traces back to the May 19 hail or the March EF2 cell, most jobs are insurance-funded and your out-of-pocket is the deductible.

Missouri gives homeowners a 12-month window to file hail-and-wind claims, and we help you move inside it: dated photos, a written scope your adjuster can read, and we meet the adjuster on the roof if you want. If the repair falls outside a claim, Hearth and GreenSky financing are available for qualified homeowners with flexible terms. We will tell you honestly if a repair is the right answer or if storm damage roofing in Florissant is the better long-term call.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our dispatch targets a one-hour arrival window for active-leak calls anywhere inside the Florissant city limits, with a 24/7 live phone answer so you never hit voicemail. On nights of major events like the May 19, 2025 hail, we stage multiple crews across north county so wait times stay short even when calls spike citywide and every roof needs eyes on it.
A tarp-and-dry-in typically runs a few hundred dollars; a full emergency repair with new decking, matched shingle, and flashing moves with slope count and whether we hit the city’s non-nailable sheathing clause. You get the written quote on-site, split clearly into materials and labor, before any production work begins the next day, and financing is available if the fix is outside a claim.
Yes. We document every defect with dated photos, write the scope in language your adjuster can read, and meet the adjuster on your roof when you want us there. Missouri gives you a 12-month window to file hail-and-wind claims, and most jobs tracing back to the 2025 Florissant storms are insurance-funded with only the deductible paid out-of-pocket by the homeowner.
The City of Florissant requires a building permit for all residential re-roofing, and material matching is governed by Code 500.330(18) with Building Commissioner sample approval. We can tarp and dry-in immediately to stop the active leak, then pull the permit, submit the roof plan and shingle samples, and keep the file open until the city signs off on the work.
Often, yes, especially on the 60–80-year-old ranch roofs common across Florissant. If the hail from May 19, 2025 or the March EF2 cell caused functional damage, carriers typically pay for a full replacement rather than a spot repair. We write the scope with the depreciation and code upgrades your policy actually covers, so your check lines up with the work.
If it is safe to climb, yes. Our after-hours crews work by LED tower light with proper harnesses, and we use heavy-mil tarps battened to sound substrate rather than nails driven through good shingles. If lightning is still active or winds are above our safety line, we deploy interior containment first and tarp as soon as the storm cell clears Florissant.

I was referred by a relative, and I'm glad I asked. They did great work, communicated well about everything, and the one issue I had was addressed quickly and efficiently. I am glad that I went to this company. Not only would I use them again, I would refer them to friends and loved ones. Pleasant workers who work hard, and customer satisfaction is obviously a priority.

I am extremely grateful that I contacted Top Quality Exteriors for my projects. They did a great job, continuously kept me posted on the work with daily photos, and were timely and professional at a very competitive and fair price!! While other contractors were not interested in my relatively small projects (soffit and dormer repair), TQE came out the day I called to give me a bid. They also went above and beyond. I not only had soffit repair work needed, but a birds next was built into the soffit opening. After inspecting my soffit to provide a bid, Bryan, my TQE representative, asked me if I had a yard bag. He climbed back on the roof and removed the nest. He then used materials from his truck to go back up on the roof to close off the hole until it could be repaired. All this on a late Friday afternoon when most contractors would be looking to start their weekend. Because of this, the great quality work, and the friendly and professional employees, I will always contact Top Quality Exteriors for any future projects, large or small. I HIGHLY recommend them!!!!

The overall experience was great. Their responses are quick and detailed, and the images provided of the condition of the roof before, during, and after repair gave me confidence in the work that was being done. They did a thorough job of explaining the scope of work, including a change order that was required when additional damage was found to the sheathing of the roof. They were transparent about their pricing and were respectful throughout our interactions. Overall I’m satisfied, and hopeful that the quality of the work will show over time.
