If a storm just rolled through Florissant, don’t wait on the next cell to make it worse. Call Top Quality Exteriors at (314) 618-8888 for 24/7 emergency response, a free damage inspection, and honest help with your insurance claim.
When hail, high winds, or a stray tornado tears through north St. Louis County, storm damage in Florissant doesn’t wait for your schedule — and it rarely leaves just one trade’s work behind. The 2-inch hail on May 19, 2025 and the March 2025 EF2 tornado track that ran through town left ranch homeowners facing cracked shingles, dented aluminum, and water finding its way inside at the same time. Top Quality Exteriors runs one Florissant response for both the roof and the walls, documents every hit for your adjuster, and keeps the quote honest.
We handle the full storm chain under one roof so you aren’t juggling a roofer, a siding crew, and an adjuster on your own. Our team covers storm damage roofing in Florissant and storm damage siding repair in Florissant, pulls the city’s required re-roof permit, and offers Hearth and GreenSky financing so a deductible doesn’t stall the repair. Our crews work on the post-war ranch roofs and un-insulated 1950s walls that fill most of Florissant, so the inspection reads what’s actually on your home — not a national template.
Florissant sits inside the metro’s active hail corridor, and the data from 2024 and 2025 shows exactly what that means for a homeowner here. Around 25 hail reports landed within 10 miles of the city center in 2025, including 2-inch hail with roughly 40 mph gusts on May 19, and the year’s largest stones reached 2.5 inches near Lindbergh Blvd. The March 13–16, 2025 outbreak sent an EF2 track from Chesterfield through Bridgeton and into Florissant, tearing shingles, snapping power poles, and peeling aluminum siding off west-facing elevations. Most storms arrive from the southwest, so those slopes take the brunt — the first ones we check on a post-storm walkthrough. On the 60 to 80 year old roofs typical in Paddock Forest and the Coldwater Creek corridor, one hail event is often the tipping point for a long-deferred replacement. Pair that with chalky old vinyl, and emergency roof tarping in Florissant buys the time to document everything before the next line of thunderstorms rolls in.
Every storm call in Florissant follows the same five steps, whether a hail front hit yesterday or a tornado rolled through last week. The order matters: stop active damage, document it the way adjusters expect, and rebuild with the right permit.
We answer 24/7 and get a crew to your Florissant address fast. Our priority is stopping the active leak with heavy-duty tarp. We secure the home before the next cell rolls in.
Next we walk the roof, siding, gutters, and flashing on-site with you. Every hail hit, wind lift, and ding is photographed and chalked. The scope goes in a report adjusters accept.
We meet your insurance adjuster on-site and walk the damage in person. Our scope lines up with Xactimate codes so nothing valid gets missed. You never handle that meeting alone.
We pull Florissant’s required re-roof permit for the full job. Material matching needs Building Commissioner approval first. Decking is checked for the non-nailable clause too.
We rebuild roof and siding together so the color, line, and seal match. Every job carries our 36-month workmanship warranty on labor. Final cleanup leaves the yard magnet-swept.
Top Quality Exteriors was founded in 2022, but our team brings over 7 years of industry experience on north-county roofs and walls. We are an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor and a James Hardie Alliance Program Member, BBB Accredited with an A+ rating, licensed in Missouri and Illinois, and carry both general liability and workers’ comp. For Florissant that means the crew showing up after a hail front is covered, credentialed, and on the hook for the warranty.
Our 52-plus team has worked the ranch belt from Patterson Rd to the Coldwater Creek corridor, so we know what Florissant storms do to a 1950s roof deck. We know the city’s non-nailable sheathing clause, the material-matching rule under Code 500.330(18), and the 180-day permit window. Insurance paperwork, pitch and square footage math, and the Missouri 12-month claim window all stay with one point of contact — not three subs passing you around.
Storm pricing in Florissant lives at the lower end of the metro range because the ranch footprint is modest and the geometry is simple. A tear-off on a ’50s roof runs cheaper than the same square footage on a cut-up two-story out west — but the quote can shift the day we open the deck. If 1x board sheathing is warped, cracked, or delaminated, city code deems it non-nailable and we replace it before shingles land. That line item is flagged in writing up front.
Most storm damage repair work gets paid through insurance, and we build the scope to match. We photograph every impact, line it up with Xactimate codes, and sit at the kitchen table while you file. If the deductible is tight, Hearth and GreenSky financing covers the gap on approved credit, and our 36-month workmanship warranty rides on top of manufacturer coverage. The goal: a fair quote on the front end and an honest invoice on the back.
Every credential we carry is a commitment to quality, safety, and your peace of mind — on every project, in every state we serve.

I was referred by a relative, and I'm glad I asked. They did great work, communicated well about everything, and the one issue I had was addressed quickly and efficiently. I am glad that I went to this company. Not only would I use them again, I would refer them to friends and loved ones. Pleasant workers who work hard, and customer satisfaction is obviously a priority.Posted on Google![]()

I am extremely grateful that I contacted Top Quality Exteriors for my projects. They did a great job, continuously kept me posted on the work with daily photos, and were timely and professional at a very competitive and fair price!! While other contractors were not interested in my relatively small projects (soffit and dormer repair), TQE came out the day I called to give me a bid. They also went above and beyond. I not only had soffit repair work needed, but a birds next was built into the soffit opening. After inspecting my soffit to provide a bid, Bryan, my TQE representative, asked me if I had a yard bag. He climbed back on the roof and removed the nest. He then used materials from his truck to go back up on the roof to close off the hole until it could be repaired. All this on a late Friday afternoon when most contractors would be looking to start their weekend. Because of this, the great quality work, and the friendly and professional employees, I will always contact Top Quality Exteriors for any future projects, large or small. I HIGHLY recommend them!!!!Posted on Google![]()

The overall experience was great. Their responses are quick and detailed, and the images provided of the condition of the roof before, during, and after repair gave me confidence in the work that was being done. They did a thorough job of explaining the scope of work, including a change order that was required when additional damage was found to the sheathing of the roof. They were transparent about their pricing and were respectful throughout our interactions. Overall I’m satisfied, and hopeful that the quality of the work will show over time.
