If your porch, dormer, or rear addition shows cracked lap, peeling paint, or water stain along the nail line, a fresh vinyl elevation solves it for a generation. Call us for a free St. Louis walkaround and a written quote you can hold.
If you own a wood-frame home in Bevo Mill, The Hill, or Carondelet, aging wood siding on a porch or rear addition can drink up water fast during a St. Louis freeze-thaw week that alternates rain, snow, and forty-degree afternoons. Top Quality Exteriors installs durable vinyl siding in St. Louis on the parts of city homes that actually carry siding: a frame addition off the back, a dormer face on a bungalow, a gable end above load-bearing brick, or a whole wood-clad cottage tucked between two brick two-flats on a South City side street.
Our crews measure the frame section, tear off failing wood lap, address any rotted sheathing behind it, and layer in a fresh weather-resistive barrier before the first panel goes up on the wall. We coordinate with your existing brick where the siding meets a masonry return, cut J-channel tight to the coping stones, and finish the soffit and fascia so the whole elevation reads clean from the sidewalk and the back alley. Ask about a full siding installation in St. Louis quote today from our local city team.
The May 2025 EF3 tornado ripped roofs and siding off thousands of homes across North City and Fountain Park, and any homeowner who watched that storm knows the exterior of a St. Louis frame house takes a real beating between hail, straight-line wind, and freeze-thaw cycles that split old wood lap along the nail line every winter. Modern vinyl handles that pattern better than the softwood it usually replaces, and insulated panels add an R-value bump that the original 1920s wall assemblies never had. We install premium lines from Mastic, CertainTeed Monogram, Royal, and ProVia in double 4, double 5, dutchlap, board and batten, and vertical panels, and we can match the shadow line and reveal on a neighboring dormer so a rear addition in Bevo Mill or Holly Hills does not read as an obvious add-on. If you want a masonry-look alternative for a gable that has to face the street, we also offer fiber cement siding in St. Louis as a longer-life upgrade.
Vinyl siding on a St. Louis frame home is one part panel and three parts prep, so we walk every job through a set sequence. Here is how a project moves from the first walkaround at your curb to a finished elevation you can stop looking at.
I start at the curb and walk every elevation on your home. I check for cracked lap, soft sheathing, gaps at each J-channel, and any spot where water is tracking in behind panels.
I sit at your kitchen table and price the whole job out line by line. You see panel choice, insulation, trim, tear-off, and disposal. Nothing gets buried in a lump-sum quote total.
We pull physical color chips against your brick or trim in real St. Louis daylight. You choose panel profile, reveal, and accent for the corners. I order all stock in one lot.
My crew tears off old lap, replaces any punky sheathing, and wraps the wall in fresh house wrap. We nail every panel loose per spec so vinyl can move, and flash each opening tight.
We walk the whole elevation together and check every corner, soffit return, and J-channel seam. I hand you the manufacturer warranty paperwork and my 36-month workmanship pledge.
Top Quality Exteriors was founded in 2022, and our owner Mario Granados brings over 7 years of industry experience to every wall we touch on a St. Louis job. We are an Owens Corning Preferred Contractor, a James Hardie Alliance Program member, and a BBB Accredited Business with an A+ rating. We carry full general liability plus workers compensation coverage on every crew that steps onto a city block, and we back every install with a 36-month workmanship warranty.
Our 52-plus team members work city addresses every week, so we know how to stage a vinyl job on a tight Dutchtown lot with no driveway, how to run material down a narrow alley without blocking your neighbor out for the day, and how to keep a job site clean around a shared brick party wall on an attached rowhouse. If your project also involves masonry-look upgrades on the street elevation, ask about James Hardie siding in St. Louis.
Vinyl siding in St. Louis typically runs $2 to $11 per square foot installed, and a typical 1,800 square foot frame elevation lands between $9,000 and $15,000 with tear-off, house wrap, trim, and disposal all included in the final number. Insulated panels sit at the top of that range but cut air leakage on an old wall assembly, which pays back on winter heating bills through the long January freeze-thaw stretch every year in the city.
We break the estimate into panel, trim, tear-off, and any sheathing repair so you know exactly what you are paying for, and we offer Hearth and GreenSky financing for qualified homeowners who want to spread the cost across monthly payments over time. Most jobs run 5 to 7 working days once material lands on your block. Every install carries our 36-month workmanship warranty, and manufacturer coverage extends up to a lifetime on select premium panel lines from our vendors.
Every credential we carry is a commitment to quality, safety, and your peace of mind — on every project, in every state we serve.

I was referred by a relative, and I'm glad I asked. They did great work, communicated well about everything, and the one issue I had was addressed quickly and efficiently. I am glad that I went to this company. Not only would I use them again, I would refer them to friends and loved ones. Pleasant workers who work hard, and customer satisfaction is obviously a priority.Posted on Google![]()

I am extremely grateful that I contacted Top Quality Exteriors for my projects. They did a great job, continuously kept me posted on the work with daily photos, and were timely and professional at a very competitive and fair price!! While other contractors were not interested in my relatively small projects (soffit and dormer repair), TQE came out the day I called to give me a bid. They also went above and beyond. I not only had soffit repair work needed, but a birds next was built into the soffit opening. After inspecting my soffit to provide a bid, Bryan, my TQE representative, asked me if I had a yard bag. He climbed back on the roof and removed the nest. He then used materials from his truck to go back up on the roof to close off the hole until it could be repaired. All this on a late Friday afternoon when most contractors would be looking to start their weekend. Because of this, the great quality work, and the friendly and professional employees, I will always contact Top Quality Exteriors for any future projects, large or small. I HIGHLY recommend them!!!!Posted on Google![]()

The overall experience was great. Their responses are quick and detailed, and the images provided of the condition of the roof before, during, and after repair gave me confidence in the work that was being done. They did a thorough job of explaining the scope of work, including a change order that was required when additional damage was found to the sheathing of the roof. They were transparent about their pricing and were respectful throughout our interactions. Overall I’m satisfied, and hopeful that the quality of the work will show over time.
